133 People Baptized in Jesus Name This Weekend
The Experience Community Church Murfreesboro Tennessee has started the year off great with our first Praise & Worship night of 2018 and 4 weekend services with the lesson on baptism resulting in 133 folks being baptized in Jesus name this weekend!
As I have mentioned before 3 or 4 times a year we have a Friday night Praise & Worship event with about 2 1/2 hours of praise and worship closed out with baptisms. The baptism theme is then carried over into our 4 regular weekend services (5pm & 7pm Saturdays and 9 am & 11 am Sundays) with the sermon being on baptism and then baptisms at the end of each service.
Typically we baptize 70-80 folks on these weekends the last few years but this year all records were broken with these 133 folks deciding to take the step of baptism.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
