Well many of us from the Church attended. Was I happy when I heard that the President of the UPC would be speaking! In my mind I thought he would get up and set the place on fire with truth. Many of the top Charismatic, Evangelical Preachers of the time spoke that day. My focus was on Bro. Urshan speaking.
Well when he did speak I was utterly disappointed. As I recall he spoke about repentance and America turning to God and having a greater "light of God" in our country. It was one of the least inspiring messages we heard that day. Nothing about Acts 2:38 or the Oneness message.
At least on that occasion the attempt of the UPC to blend in with the other believers did not get very far.

You have made my point Brother!
Anytime the people that feel
Acts 2:38 is the correct message, we take a back seat. I always hear this stupid ........ about "Wise as serpents but harmless as doves." I wish when AM was on TBN the other day the whole world could have heard the gospel. Instead of that we have a wishy-washy message of us hanging out with the big group. We get the shaft again.
I just feel let down. I look at the Apostles. They never teamed up with the "the other guys".
