Do these characteristics adequately describe the persona of a Christian man?
Are "real" men a thing of the past? Is Islam attractive to men because of its emphasis on male dominance? Has Christianity feminized the modern man with its emphasis on feelings and emotion?
What is your idea of manliness?

My idea of traditional manliness is most all the things as listed. Except I wouldn't want a guy who isn't concerned with his appearance.
I wouldn't want a totally unemotional guy either, but I sure wouldn't want one who goes to pieces by a little pressure or trouble.
Too much ego is off-putting to me but some is good!

I think you might want to reread that list a bit slower, but maybe not.

I did. There are varying degrees of all those characteristics listed. To what degree a man is some of those things would make a difference as to whether or not I thought it was a good characteristic. But in general outside of a few exceptions most of those characteristics help define "masculinity" for me.
