Re: Did Jesus Wear Pants?
Some can be jaded by the standards. Especially if they have been in Pentecost long enough to come to the belief that some of the standards are not absolutely biblical.
Some can strongly defend the standards. Especially if they have been in Pentecost long enough to find what they believe is a value for the standards, or have come to identify their entire faith with the standards.
Some new converts can be simply disillusioned with the standards wondering if all of it is necessary and when given texts, they just don't see the standard exactly expressed in Scripture.
Some new converts grow into the standards, seeing value in their application and embrace them as principles to be practiced, even if not specifically spelled out in Scripture.
Some new converts can be strong defenders of the standards as a result of what I remember some calling, "True Believer Syndrome". This is a mental and emotional psychological state wherein the individual blindly embraces anything taught to them on account of their love and trust for a given authority. Scripture is therefore often interpreted through the lense of practice, instead of practice being established by plain reading of Scripture. All too often, upon realization of the imperfection of the institution, a "true believer" can become very disillusioned and become jaded about the standards they come to believe are not biblical.
So, be it a new believer, true believer, firm believer, jaded believer... it doesn't matter. People generally have some reason why they believe as they do. And if listened to, most have merits to why they believe what they do.
Ultimately Scripture is the final word, regardless of where one is coming from.

Its really simple and after this I will leave you alone on this subject I had no idea you are "new" as Amanah says. To take one verse ( Exodus 28:42) out of that chapter and make it a steadfast doctrine while ignoring the whole context of not just the rest of the chapter but the rest of Exodus is not sound and when you post that opinion on here you should expect some rebuttal. Now if you really want to use something to support your stance you are better off using 1 Timothy 2.

Amen. And when one uses I Timothy 2, no one can argue that they are falling back into legalism predicated upon Mosaic Law. It becomes an issue of principled Christian modesty. A 100% NT teaching.

Re: Did Jesus Wear Pants?
So, therefore this trend is that this incoming fashion is men's dresses?
Since their some have theorized that there supposedly female pants are acceptable. Then by their logic so is a male dress?

Re: Did Jesus Wear Pants?
what I want to know is being that men are the hegemon of society, why do they want to be females?
is it because it is easier then stepping up to the plate and taking responsibility?
none of this was possible before birth control.
