Well, we've affirmed that running water isn't necessary.
We can say the same thing about church buildings, pastor salaries, and air conditioning. 
The point is this... and it is pretty simple... living in a wealthy Western nation, there is no reason why any child within our boarders should not be able to receive the treatments they need simply because their parents can't afford health insurance. That isn't "socialism". It's simply common sense. |
