Long story short, the nation fell into sinfulness, so God allowed the Midianites to swarm in and begin to displace Israel. It got so bad the people eventually began to cry out to God. God's response was to send them a prophet who told them what's actually going on.

The beatings will continue until morale improves, in other words.

When enough people have had enough, and give up on flesh efforts to solve things, they will begin to cry out to God. And that's usually when God sends a Messenger to point the way.

That Messenger in this day and age is the Church.

U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Spokesman Tyler Houlton verified that the caravan is riddled with numerous gang members and males with Middle Eastern and Asian origins.

“There are individuals within the caravan who are gang members or have significant criminal histories,” Houlton stated on Tuesday, according to WND. “Citizens of countries outside Central America – including countries in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and elsewhere – are currently traveling through Mexico toward the U.S.”

The open borders group behind the illegal alien caravan marching to the US border is funded by several liberal organizations including Soros’s Open Society.

The Pueblo Sin Fronteras (“People Without Borders”) is a project of La Familia Latina Unida, a Chicago, Illinois-based 501(c)(4) illegal immigration advocacy organization formed in 2001 by Elvira Arellano, an activist for immigrants living illegally in the United States.

The group is part of the CARA Coalition and is funded by a number of major left-of-center grantmaking foundations, including the Open Society Foundations, MacArthur Foundation, Ford Foundation, and Carnegie Corporation of New York.

Migrants in Caravan Reject Mexico’s Offer for Help, Heading to U.S. Instead

Mexico’s government unveiled a plan to provide employment, health care, and education to thousands of Central American migrants who are part of the caravan that is traveling from Honduras towards the U.S border.

UPDATE October 27, 9:20 CDT: Members of the migrant caravan from Honduras rejected Mexico’s offer of asylum, jobs, and benefits on Saturday, CBS and the Associated Press reported.

Civilian activists carrying guns and bulletproof vests are assembling at the US’ southern border in order to lend support to the US National Guard and Border Patrol, as a caravan of several thousand undocumented migrants moves towards the border.
US citizens bearing arms and gear are preparing to reinforce the US southern border, along with the Border Patrol and the National Guard, in order to stop the caravan of illegal migrants from crossing into the US.

Yes there are some bad people that are probably in the caravans, but many of them are simply fleeing poverty and violence in their homeland.
