Now Thumper, you know good and well several times I have made it a point to express my appreciation for the Universal Pricing Code and the ease with which it has made tracking and pricing things.

My point exactly! I do not believe it fair to lump standard threads into the other threads that Steadfast complained of. And how many people expressed giddiness that someone left the UPC? Why are we judging the majority by the minority?
Ownership has no bearing on the degrade of topics recently.
What one says as an owner or administrator carries more clout than me speaking. So I think it important to clarify when a big stick is being used.
90% of WHAT voters- How many voted. This is not 90% of Pentecost. Surely you are much smarter than to quote bad poll percentage as fact. Or do you do so simply to build your side only?
Give me a break! It was 90% of the voting forum. Hardly a sample of Apostolic at large. I never expected that my post would be construed to suggest that the group was representative of all Apostolic churches. But it does indicate that the majority of people who took the poll either did not feel that a particular standard was a marker of righteousness OR that over 90% of those taking the poll were unrighteous in the first place.
If so; why not close the forum down? Surely there are plenty of places where the righteous 10% could post.

Not to diss you Sister Newman. You bring thought to the table here and I like to have thought to be challenged.
Disclaimer- Use of the word Sister was in full respect and will be removed if deemed offensive.

If there weren't negative things going on in the UPC and if ministers weren't doing the very things they berate their saints for there would be no negativity.
Criticizing ANY organization simply for the sake of criticism is NOT productive.
Calling a "spade" when you see a spade is just reality. There is just as much criticism of "charismania" as there is UPC and other orgs, at least IMO.
If we begin to limit our commraderie, discussions, beliefs, standards etc. around the UPC, it's belief system and politics, etc. then you all can have a nice life, but I have more important things to do than not tell the truth.

I explained myself to her and I hope she accepted that. I will use 'your majesty' if necessary. I just want to be a blessing!

I've no problem with calling her 'Sister'. Again, I was trying to be respectful to her as a lady. She has, for all I've seen, always been a 'lady'.
I have lived long enough, however, to know that not all 'Sisters' are a 'lady'. I thought she deserved the respect of a 'Miss', 'Mrs.' or 'Ma'am'.
She misunderstood it. I explained it. Twice now.

Ok. Sorry for misunderstanding. I hadn't noticed you addressing other ladies on the forum so formally.

I most always do in person. Ask any of them that I've met... (Truth be known, I don't really know who is or who isn't on the forum as I'm not on that much.)
Thanks, Ma'am / Sister. (Just covering all the bases!)
