Good point, Esaias. Most don't realize that definitions of commonly used terms can be quite different.
Don't Full Preterists believe that the "rapture" began in AD 70 and continues even today, with the only saints of the church being "caught up" to meet Jesus in the air at death?
I knew a Full Preterist who pointed out this text...
Matthew 24:31 (KJV)
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
While most see this as a single eschatological event in the future, my Full Preterist friend believes that this speaks of a spiritual reality that is still taking place, even today. He believes that from the sounding of the trumpet (the last trump) announcing the fall of Jerusalem and the Temple system, the angels have been gathering the elect after death and bringing them straight into the presence of the Lord.
Luke 16:22 (KJV)
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
Perhaps our Full Preterist brethren can explain this better.
