NOAA and NHC, they (and the media) lie. Purpose? Hype, ratings, drama, fear, and to bolster the whole global warming/climate change agenda.
The wind map is computer generated from numerous data sources, including satellite and radar input. It shows wind speed from surface up to the outer edges of the atmosphere, temperatures, particulates, and numerous other details.
