Sister if a person adheres to Acts 2:38 that would mean he repented, so I don't think I understand what you're saying here?

I mean sometimes people obey Acts 2:38 and then later begin to lie and steal. Is that person to be viewed as saved?...As someone said in a post on this thread, maybe that person was not obeying inwardly at all ever.

I am not going to divulge details, but I have heard that others have known hypothetical people who lie and steal and they are treated as though they are fine because they have professed an obedience to Acts 2:38. They keep the standards and they are not questioned. I don't care to discuss this any further. To me that's "not getting it - not understanding"........What does it mean to hold the truth in unrighteousness? Maybe that's it but that would be for another thread.

Mat 23:27-28
"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity."
Jesus loved the way the Pharisees looked He just hated their insides.

Is there a purpose of the question and the poll?
What harvest will the results yield?
What point is wanting to be proved?
What is the motive?
The answer is so obvious that these questions bear asking.
