Any updates on the couple and the other man who received a spirit of infirmity from attending BOTT? What did the Dr tell the one who rushed himself to the hospital?

One more thing re the song... the elder said that one would have had to be in that service to understand why Brother Mangun asked Sister Mangun to sing it...
I know that still won't fit with the opinions of those who were not present or who may have any argument with the song, but I trust the judgment of the elder.

With all the great songwriters and music we have in Pentecost why go use that song? I can't believe I can fly, I can't believe I can touch the sky. I can do nothing unless Christ Jesus strengthens me. R Kelly's song is about me myself and I. Yet, the "I" will ascend into heaven, "I" will exalt my throne above the stars of God: "I" will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: "I" will ascend above the heights of the clouds; "I" will be like the most High. There is no I, there is only He. Please understand where I'm at with this, I wasn't there. I haven't the slightest idea how all this came down. I am hearing that Sister sought God, and tried to get healed, but push through the press to touch the hem of Sigmund's Freud's garment and was made whole? Everyone applauded because she was being transparent? Honest? I'm just not encouraged, I feel no encouragement in that. All I keep thinking about is the woman with the issue of blood who sought the physicians who could bring her no releaf. Yet, she knew that Christ was the only one. If she made the effort all she had to do is touch the smallest part of His cloak. That is my hope, that is my only hope, that if I press through I can be made whole. I believe Him, I trust Him, I know He will do what needs to be done. While the devil screams on the outside that I should not retain my integrity, that I should just give up, and die. But Jesus thinks that is foolish speech. But encourages me to press on and move forward. Again, I have never heard this woman's testimony, don't know why everyone stood up like seals waiting for fish to be thrown. I can't believe what I heard about all of this, because if it went down the way it went down, then I'm in need of some heavy explanations.

Brother Beni, I believe I can fly and I can touch the sky because I can do all things through Christ! For ME, that is not placing myself in a realm equal with or greater than God. It's just that I can do all things through Christ...
I am not going to rehearse my post from the other day re music, but just to say that we sing a host of songs written, not only by non sanctified vessels, but by men and women of extreme questionable character.
As you said, you were not there, and I wasn't either. I can only repeat what someone I HIGHLY respect relayed to me about that moment. He was there, and I trust his word and discernment.
If others who were not there feel otherwise, that can't be helped.
Brother Beni, no disrespect to you or anyone else, but I feel this thread has taken a turn that was not first intended, so I'm going to bow out of the conversation. It's not that I can't handle myself in discussion/debate, but it's pointless.
This is not 'goodbye cruel world'... lol just backing off this discussion. Much love to you all in the Lord...

The Pastor that went to the hospital, haven’t heart anything. Your probably right it might’ve been food poisoning..... spiritual or physical food.

There is a important part of the story which rules out any physical illness.

Sister, I understand you want this to be the intent, but the song was written for a children's movie. It's totally about empowering self, and a man who made sure that through his own human will he could do all things through self. R Kelly is your typical self made man who became famous, and had some power through his fame. In the song there is a portion which makes the statement "'I' was on the verge of breaking down. Sometimes silence can seem so loud. There are miracles in life 'I' must achieve. But first 'I' know it starts inside of me." This is taught in mind science, eastern religion, Gnostic theory, where by my own power I can achieve all through I who strengthens I. Sister not everyone who sits in front of the pulpit is you, who is amazingly wise, who understands the intentions of well meaning elders who preach and teach. You are strong, full age, able to see through the coal and see the diamond. Yet, not everyone in front of that platform is at that level. They are coming fresh out of R Kelly's culture, where a man can gain such power himself that he feels he can do anything. Do anything to anyone, at anytime. The song goes from flying to soaring to being able to grab hold of whatever we want because of the one who is inside of us. But, sister, that isn't talking of the new man filled with Christ's spirit, but the old man filled with his own human will.

Sister, we aren't talking about the Doobie Brothers "Jesus is just alright with me" Kris Kristofferson "Why Me Lord" Martin Gore "Own Personal Jesus" or Hank Williams "Jesus died for me" Because while all the singers and songwriters who wrote, and sang these tunes are messed up, the songs are about JESUS. R Kelly's tune is about R Kelly. See the difference?
