I have had more than one Pastor who knocked the UPC. My first Apostolic Pastor said they were a bunch of "loose devils".

In that he is being consistent with the way most Apostolics teach Duet. 22:5

Have you read the UPC by laws lately? Men are not allowed to serve in the military EXCEPT as non combatants. So to me that would be consistent with such a doctrine. Why forbid men from fighting for their country but they can defend their own lives or families?

Ministers in his church aren't allowed to reference, quote, teach or even read any book not pre-approved as Holy Scriptures. Doing so will result in suspension from teaching. Second offense will result in expulsion from the church.

This might fit in the "standards" thread. Everyone says if a Church Pastor sets a standard people can either accept it or leave. I find it no worse than Pastors pulling rabbits out of a hat like "beards are only for the prideful and sinful in heart and not acceptable for the sacred platform"

I dont find Gino to be worse than most Apostolic Preachers. In my opinion he teaches more solid FOUNDATION truth than almost all UPC preachers.

Post trib rapture and resurrection of dead PEOPLE rather than mere dead BODIES.

Throw in the headcovering for women and you are very close to the teaching of the early Church.
