This form of erring in judgment (Eli, Hophni and Phinneas come to mind)God will separate from the body. It is a struggle to hold to the truth, never the less it is the passion of the believer's heart and even if the mark is beyond where we are, we still point to it and press for it in full assurance that we will reach it. But to deny that the mark exists or that its location can be discerned and experienced is to cast a stumbling block before Gods children. This stumbling block is an ideological position that removes the existence of "the straight and narrow", leaving the pilgrim on a broad road which can never reach the Heaven that it promises.
