I heard that Bernard stated that UPCI preachers should stop teaching that wearing a beard is a sin. Quite the opposite.

Can you provide documentation? I have heard that too. But we all know beards are still frowned on.
And if he is indeed the chief elder why would he be still allowing Clancy Gores book TOTALLY AGAINST beards to be sold under the UPCI ministry?

So? You have Irvin Baxter Jr, sold with William Chalfant, one is a dispensationalist Post Trib, and the other Dispensationalist Pre Trib. Then what would be the eschatology of the UPCI?
|
Well that would be a good point IF the PPH also sold a book that said beards are fine.
Are they selling such a book?

For example, I know at one time books from Trinitarian authors like Rick Warren and John Maxwell were real popular. But, PPH carrying such books did not mean they agreed 100% with that book.

That's not how the Bible says this works. It states you need two or three witnesses for an accusation.
You're arguing the UPCI says facial hair is a sin. You offered one book that the PPH sells that says facial hair is a sin. This book is not an official publication of the UPCI, and the author isn't an employee of the PPH. Instead, the author wholesales this book to resellers, one of which is the PPH.
So, while you need to be the one to "prove" your accusation, you're asking others to disprove your accusation by proving the UPCI's innocence. That is nothing like the two or three witnesses. Even our secular court says a person is innocent until proven guilty.
So, MTD, what solid evidence do you have to prove your accusation that the UPCI has an official stance against facial hair?
