is this Search Amazon thingy on the left side of the opening screen a new development? Does it help pay for the cost of the forum?

I don't remember seeing it before. When I come on, I have to use the scroll button on the bottom now in order to see all the way across the page. That's the only reason I'm asking

I'm sure it's something BOOM is testing and working on.

I doubt it will stay in that same position. When you come back tomorrow, it will probably be somewhere else on the page.

Actually the cost of the forum is taken care of for the first year.......and after that also.........but I do believe that certain ones help to raise money which could be used to offset the cost of the forum......and the trips that the admin all want to go on..........
