Yes, forsaking the plow to become a dictator. Then as soon as the emergency is over return to the plow. He was a hero to the old Republic at a time the Republic wasn't corrupt. Yet, it is a the people who create a Lucius Cornelius Sulla. There is where the die was cast. Julius Caesar was a ripe apple which the people were awaiting to pick. God places rulers above us, we so much want, and so much deserve. God wants to be our King, but sadly we want no king but Caesar. We so desire a king like all the other nations.
