I’ve attended a funeral for a friend who didn’t survive it as well. I didn’t ask if he had been vaccinated. I’ve had a lot of family that have had it, they have all survived. Just tell the truth and stay in the church. It shouldn’t be something to mislead people about.
Oh, and I’ve had a lot of people I know who have gotten Covid who have already been vaccinated. Some had mild cases. Some had pretty severe symptoms. From where I’m sitting it doesn’t have rhyme or reason.
Some get the shot and die. Some don’t get the shot and live.

What’s crazy to me is when people that have been vaccinated get sick and than say they are thankful they got the shot or it would have been worse. If they had the flu shot and still got sick they wouldn’t be saying it worked! Like you said 99% recover ( probably higher than that because I’m sure more people had it and didn’t get tested ). Most people I know got sicker with the shot than I did with the real deal lol.
