Very dangerous. If those authority figures are leading us to a ditch.
Therefore we must look well to the path we walk upon while we follow anyone or anything. Yet, we only have one Father, one Master, one Shepard. We must be sensitive to hear His voice, and see His light. Ephesians 5:14-15

Deuteronomy 28:15,28-29,32-34,36-37 KJV
But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: [28] The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart: [29] And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee. [32] Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long: and there shall be no might in thine hand. [33] The fruit of thy land, and all thy labours, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed alway: [34] So that thou shalt be mad for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see. [36] The LORD shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone. [37] And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee.

My thoughts are on how to live in community with believers who you disagree with because we are not meant to walk out our faith alone, it's conflicting because I tend to want to cut with the sword. Current Random thoughts:
As followers of Christ, we are called to stand firm in our faith, keeping God's commandments even when it means standing alone. We must prioritize God's truth above human opinions, remembering that God says, "Let God be true and every man a liar" ( Romans 3:4). However, our commitment to truth must be balanced with compassion and empathy towards others. Our actions should demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit, such as love, kindness, and self-control ( Galatians 5:22-23). When interacting with others, especially those we disagree with, our speech should be seasoned with grace. We must avoid using hurtful or divisive language, instead opting for constructive and respectful dialogue. While it can be challenging to navigate relationships with those we disagree with, we are not meant to walk the Christian life alone. Instead, we are called to community and fellowship with other believers ( Hebrews 10:24-25). As we strive to maintain unity and understanding, we must rely on the Spirit to guide us, remembering that the letter of the law can bring death, but the Spirit gives life ( 2 Corinthians 3:6).

Yipes, and this country doesn't even have a covenant with God.
With the children of Israel as the pillar of cloud, and the pillar of fire moved, they followed. Their problems came with their constant rejection of their God, and His laws.
With the United States they want to move with the pillar of cloud and fire following them. They wouldn't have it any other way. I do believe this country has been serving other gods since its inception. Thomas Paine, and Thomas Jefferson made that quite plain.

I totally understand what you are saying. I'd be hornswoggled if I would sit under the ministry of Don. Romans 16:17–18 clearly tells us about separation. The obstacles, divisions are those who teach contrary to Jesus Christ. A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? We were discussing authority figures? So, to make this plain, if the blind, follow the blind they both fall into a pit. The biggest thing is if you have the wrong authority figure over you and leading you. You and your loved ones are in trouble. That, sad to say is a life changing injury

Can two walk together unless they be agreed?
Which can be taken to mean "we can walk together insofar as we agree". Obviously we have to have some boundaries. But as far as we can be in agreement with people, we can fellowship up to that point. Again, some things are deal breakers. But the thing I always try to remember is that I too was once dumber than a box of rocks, but thankfully the Lord and His people had some forbearance and longsuffering-ness towards me.

Re: Conspiracy theories
I understand the learning curve, as we grow in the grace of Jesus Christ. Yet, when leadership drop the water melon. One's hard pressed in being able to clean that up. Some things can't be unseen.

Re: Conspiracy theories
I saw conspiracy theories thought this was going to be about “we never went to the moon”, 911 was an inside job, JFK was shot by the government.
