Batton Down The Hatches!!!!!

Yes friends...it is true....another UPCI church has gone the way of the "rebellion".
As of now another PROMINENT UPCI church has gone to TV.
Dont ask...I wont tell......BUT it would shock many of you that are familiar with this part of the Country.
They are running over 800....

Fasten your seatbelts UC's...this will be the trend...passed in Tampa or not.

Big churches will get a pass. Little ones might get called before the district board.

Good grief most UPC folks have televisions so what is the big deal. The presbyter in the section I was raised in had a television when I was a boy.
Every UPC church in the area back then was filled with television it never was a big deal with them. The Independent brethren were anti television then but they joined and now they all have televisions. Thank God for those who don't and make a stand but it is too little too late I fear.

Was the church in TX (who recently disaffiliated) a large or small church?

NYLP,

In your opinion what is the rationale behind this larger UPC church making this move just a few months before GC?

Do you believe they are willing to just drop it all a mere four months after starting it if the resolution fails at GC?

By "gone to TV" do you mean advertising on TV or a program on TV?

I went to a concert there about 13 years ago and I guessed it to run about 500-800.
