I think the bigger issue they need to worry about is this hair stuff and forget fighting about TV.

This hair doctrine concerns me.

It is funny that no seems to find a problem with people violating clearly spelled out agreements that someone has signed their name to. But I guess why should we be surprised when Holywood is involved.

NYLP,

did you see my question about whether you mean this church is advertising on TV or has a program on TV?

Such a UC thing to say. Hollywood has nothing to do with it. Reaching the masses that is the appeal.

Such a UL thing to say. To dismiss lieing and broken promises as being onworthy of consideration.

Not in texas! we kick em out big or little.

well, we TRY to convince the people that their pastor has taken them down the primrose path, and then the people reject us and thus take their church and go their own way.

that is how we roll in Texas! Hook'em Horns! Gig'em Aggies!

I agree. I also agree that being true to the word of God and the great commission is more important than the goofy extreme legalism of the UPC.

These preachers who don't believe the legalism / restrictions on ministry through media, etc should be man enough to say so and turn in their cards.

LOL!!! I am dying to find out which petty jealous preacher turned in that pastor for having a TV. Probably some of the us four and no more crowd jealous of the success of that "compromising" church.
