But usually a church is at least governed by a group of people who pretty much agree with each other, even if the whole congregation doesn't.

The problem I see here is that who is going to be the governing body? If it's the UC, then the Libs are not gonna be ok. And if it's the libs, then UC's won't be happy.

Sorry to be the wet blanket.
No problem, this was written TIC.

But I know there are some out there that consider this type of thing an acceptable substitute for the traditional church.

Sorry. I didn't mean to sound so serious. Actually, I was chuckling as I was typing, also <--- guess I shoulda used more of those, eh? hehehhehe

Actually, I was thrilled to see a lighthearted thread. I enjoy the discussions, etc., but sometimes I just need to smile - and not have to think about it.

Definitely not the Methodists who built that one! Maybe BOOM could take the lead on this one or to be more in line with the Bible, we should seek God for the men he would have to build our new 3D sanctuary. Are there any like Moses here?

Exodus 36:1 Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD had commanded. 2 And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:

Is MY virtual tithe paying for YOUR virtual Rolex on the virtual platform? If so, I believe I'm gonna start withholding my tithe.
