Why I like the word tolerance is because when you are tolerant many times you have to rely on God's love in you and supress your own feelings/prejudices.

This is true...we all have our own share of bias, but the love of Christ should constrain us, dictating that the words spoken are seasoned with grace.
I admit, much easier said here than in the line of fire, but true nonetheless.
