I'll come out of my "mini self-ban" to state this....

Renda...you've hit the nail on the head and I doubt it will have any effect.

When AFF started it was touted as continuing in a certain tradition...of having a place to talk with freedom....with some confines. It furthermore was touted as a place where the "putting down" of ministers would be seriously looked down upon.

So what has happened?? We have a few saying this place is anti-UPC and another saying it is very pro-UPC. One has to look at the "putting down" of ministers to only notice that if you put down a UPC minister...it is severely looked down upon....put down a non-UPC minister and you are given a pass. Does not help when an Admin openly puts down a non-UPC minister and then has to administer when a UPC minister is put down.

We've had true blue current UPCers appear as back-up singers on TBN and it was alluded that they are prostituting themselves to TBN.

In one breath we speak ill of Randy and Paula White and cheered when doing so. If one spoke the same ill towards, say, a Vaughn Morton....a flood of people would be calling for an immediate banning.

I guess I am just frustrated. It's why I have not been around lately. Cooling down....but Renda struck what I've been thinking....just had to add my two cents....and now, going back to cool down.

Well Socali, thanks for coming out of self-mini-ban to respond.

I guess that I'm a dreamer because I believe tolerance can be achieved without compromising! Just wanted to throw this thread out there to see if it might make sense to someone.
