We do not find te early church doing a lot of things we do but we do find them completly giveover to reaching others....turning cities upside down...nothing else mattered except making Jesus known.
Let us follow their example and intensly live in the spirit of the first church...

If wild "shockamoo" is the norm for church and in the presence of the Holy Spirit then why do we not have New Testament examples of it?
You would think it would deserve at least some mention. Especially since when this subject came up back on NFCF many old time Pentecotals made it clear they believe you MUST shockamoo (shout) with abandon to be right with God.

Here you go again separating the new and the old testaments picking and choosing what you prefer. There is plenty of references to shockamooing in the Old Testament and that my friend is good enough for me. As are the quiet times with God. As I stated for the umpteenth time, I can handle it all. I never said only one way is the right way, my point was, that watching others get wild doesn't alarm me one bit, if its true it will stand.

In our services we have a good balance and I love it! Our prayer time is even better than church!

I'm not opposed to shockamoo, but where in the world do you find it in the Old Testament??? I'm talking about the jerky, shouty, buck-dancing stuff.
