The problem, though, is that your opinion is based on faulty assumptions because you've never seen the movie. You're welcomed to an opinion, but it's been rather uninformed and incorrect on this movie.

The movie doesn't have anything to do with the original story of Noah or the Ark. It doesn't. Watch the movie and then tell me it does.

Yes it takes elements from the Bible.
Yes there's a small, contained flood.
Yes there are animals in the ark.

That's the extent of the likeness between the movie's script and the Biblical account.

I'm thinking of showing this at church this coming Wednesday night. Or maybe even renting out the entire theater so the church can get the full experience and message of the movie. This movie is a great opportunity to witness. Sorta like Passion of Christ was.
