I knew Elder Bean's son. we went to college together. I dont know a kinder more gentle spirit.
I honestly felt like was was listening to something I should not have. a personal rebuke to one group of people. and boy was it a rebuke!
The elder did say something I had a problem with. That is, the idea that Jesus admonishon to Peter, where He gave the keys to the kingdom, is extended to all apostolic preachers. That is to say that what ever a preacher looses on earth, it is loosed in heaven.
That isnt biblically accurate. it also places the preacher in a very precarious place. Elder Bean was a man who loved God and the people he lead, but his teaching in the hands of a power mad fellow would lead to the ditch.
