But it's quite another matter for an Apostolic choir to join hands together in an effort to jointly "minister" to others. All that's really happening here is the Apostolics are going to have their doctrinal position watered-down...and their own people confused. Rather than being a vital point of doctrine, it trivializes the issue and makes it like "trinity/oneness, so what?"---and they're doing that publicly.
The Apostle Paul preached in synagogues of the Jews IN ORDER TO REACH THE JEWS...he didn't join in efforts with the non-believing Jews to minister to others as though their false teachings were unimportant, trivial matters.
I personally have preached in trinitarian churches, NOT to join in ministry WITH them to others, or to give silent approval to their teachings and hold hands with their false doctrine but in order to reach them and have an opportunity to be used by God to minister to them. There is a difference. Having someone come to your church and be involved with you to some limited degree is not at all the same as doing some public project together where it looks like you're in agreement.

I just found out that this was recorded in January 2006 and that this choir had quite an impact on Mark Lowry.

JMHO - not that anyone cares.... but I'd much rather hear Michael English now. His rendition of that song is much better now than the early 1990's when he was with the Vocal Band. I have the DVD of 1991 (the original "homecoming") and then when he did it in Canada in 2006. I like his voice better now than then.
And Pianoman..... I have friends who have divorced. Their description of the former spouse and their marriage is not often an honest, unbiased description. There are normally three sides to these stories.... his, hers and then truth.... once again MHO....

Who also happens to be best friends and owns property with or next to a known homosexual with UPC roots.
It is only guilt by association but combined with the attritubtes described in the post I quoted above it comes under the old "if it walks like a duck,etc,etc...." for many folks.
I hope it is not true and try to give the benefit of the doubt without any proof or admission of guilt.

"the anointing"? Oh, you mean that nice little emotional feeling that comes with well performed singing?
It was a great performance, for sure, as the soloist is extremely talented. But, spiritually, it was totally and completely LAME!
