Thank you Brother....we need to rejoice in all things...even in our despair...because He does know my way and I need to trust in Him...

Your post made me think of the words of a song:

He knows where I am every hour of every day
He knows each thought I think
He knows each word I may say
Although there's been times I've been out of his will
I've never been out of His care.

Great thoughts on this thread, it brings this song to my mind.
He knows, Jesus knows
He knows the road I travel
He knows what's best for me
And tho I don't understand
All the changes life may bring
I never have to worry
He knows
He knows where He's leading me

Great post RRFord!

I needed this today! I've always believed that the Lord allows us to go through certain things/circumstances...in the end, it's for our good. I know we have been through a tough 3 years, and I know I've done more than my share of complaining! Today, I will rejoice and I'm going to try to keep it up! Thanks again!

One of the most profound statements in the book of Job is recorded at the end of his trial. He basically says "I have heard of thee with my ears, but now I have seen thee with my eyes."

God uis faithful and never leaves us nor forsakes us. Sometimes we need the ability to look back down the road to realize just how much He really has been with us.

That is evermore, the truth..... I can look back on some of our darkest times when I thought, "God, are you still there?" but looking back I can see that He was there all along, and had I nought gone thru those rough times, I wouldn't be where I am today. Sometimes we just don't simply learn life's lessons like we need to without going thru a trial. I'm just glad the storm doesn't last always!

You know, I really like that idea. I'm going to start printing off things like this and keeping them together in a binder. I can't get hubby to sign up on a forum... he doesn't have the patience to try to keep up with what is going on in the different threads. He misses so many great things that get posted. Thanks for the idea CC1. I'm gonna make a binder for hubby. He will enjoy having things like this for his devotional readings.
