BM David pastored in Twin Falls, the church that I pastored was the Old Bethel Temple building that he built. He lived in the parsonage next door, I eventually sold that house, so we could remodel the church. That started among other things in the Old Timers running me off.

Loren Yadon is a wonderful teacher and I respect him big time. I will keep him in my prayers. These kind of hurts can define us if we are not careful.

I know where you are at, I will pray for you, if you pray for me. I currently don't feel I belong anywhere, a man without a home.
I Love Doctrine/Theology to much to leave the mainstream Apostolic Movment, I am to progressive to find a place to serve and be involved.

Why and when did they all leave the UPC?

CH Yadon and his brothers were very influential in the Pacific Nothwest. PCI to the bone, but full of grace and were Christians to the end.

I had a preacher once tell me that his conservative friends wanted to kill him and his liberal friends wanted to change him! He felt like a man in the middle.

Ah, a kindred Spirit?
I just weep when a good man is hurt like that. Keith, I know that God will bring you into a pefect place, in His perfect time. The desert is not meant to be our permanent residence. God just brings us here to refine us. In time He will pour us out on this generation.

Pee Pee & K4H,
You are both good men. Don't be weary in well doing. Ultimately the bottom line is that you must only please God and then yourself and your family.
All of the other junk you wade through dealing with imperfect human beings can be put in perspective.
Life is not fair (nor are people). Never has been and never will be BUT God is good and ultimately all will be made right in the end.

I pastored in the Old Bethel Temple building (a UPC church bought it from Bethel Temple) after they sold it when they moved into their new building in the early 70's when Tankersly pastored it.

Thanks Cee Cee Won,
I am comfortable and in God's perfect will where I pastor. The church is beginning to flourish and that segment of my life is quite fulfilling. It's the lack of fellowship available that really takes a toll sometimes. That, and some of the crud I put up with elsewhere in ministry.
That's why I am here.

I will be praying for you two. We've lived in "no man's land" and it's no fun. But when God opened up new doors, we stepped through without looking back, and it's been an awesome journey.
