COOP, If the UPC didn't exist for you to bash you would have a very boring life.

Go take up a hobby or something. Golf comes to mind. Wait a minute, some independent brethren preach against golf I hear.

It was fun fellowship with snacks, drinks and Monday night football on TV.

I was in a meeting in Virginia and they were discussion TV shows AFTER the fellowship group. I was surprised to find it was a ministers wife who made the comments.

I think we have all heard of the church recording "24" and passing around the DVD.

Seems Ohio is not the only loose state.

There are others who where very few have TVs and no ministers I fellowship with have one in their home. (I don't consider this board fellowship)

Sorry that I missed your earlier post.

I know quite a few UPC folks here in the Nashville area! The ones that I know pretty well all have TVs. There are several that I haven't been to their home, or the subject of having a TV never came up! I attended First Church (Ron Becton) for about 6 months and he never preached against having a TV!

I'm haven't read all of COOP's posts, so I don't know if what he does is bashing. I am merely pointing out inconsistencies and shining a little light on the TRUTH. .........In the final judgment, when THE LIGHT is shined upon what has been hidden in darkness, that is when all the TRUTH will be known. What may be looked at as bashing may be revealed as TRUTH.

If you want to boot me for speaking my mind, so be it. I would never make a personal attack. Just report on what I have witnessed.
