Lord, we ask that you touch and heal this dear lady. Your promises are true and they are new every morning. We put our confidence and trust in you at this difficult time. Hold this brother in your loving arms and give him the strength that he will need for today. Meet tomorrow's needs tomorrow.
In Jesus' name we ask this. Amen

Just returned from the hospital for a nap then returning to the hospital.
It doesnt look good, but God is able. She has had three strokes according to the doctor in the past 24 hrs.
The doctor said that she has a chance if she doesnt have another stroke in the next 24 hrs.

Bro. Lake, how old is your mom? I don't want to sound pessimistic or non-believing. But sometimes the healing that God chooses for our loved ones is the ultimate healing - giving them a new body. That is very hard for those of us left here to mourn, but we can be thankful that God does not leave us comfortless. We serve the great Comforter Himself. I know that you are already leaning on Him for strength even now.

Get some rest. Be assured that there are many of us out here who are holding you and your dear Mom up to the Lord in prayer.

She is 86 years young. Yes we are praying fo God to have is way.
It is very strange last wednesday night I taught a lesson on dieing in the Lord.

Yes I canceled the airline tickets today. Six of us were going. The travel agent said we will not lose on these tickets as long as we use them within one year. We will probably have to re-apply for another visa as this one was only good for 90 days.
