I have a sneaky suspicion that Brutha Scott would "stick to his guns" if he thought it was absolutely necessary to do so!

For the record, I am sorry for the sake of the board that MOW felt he had to step down.
But I have to say from reading these threads this morning that it really doesn't look like anything really nefarious happened; it just looks to me like a man decided to do something else with his time for personal reasons.
To try and paint this as some kind of cosmic zoroastrian struggle between libs and cons seems a bit much.
It looks as if he had issues with the way "Apostolic" was being defined for purposes of the forum.
And, i might add, the definition given was broad enough to include those who don't keep standards, as well as those of PCI persuasion and leanings.
So it seems like it was left pretty broad and general to me.
If he didn't feel comfortable with that, he is within his rights to do as he liked.
He will be missed around here for sure as a level headed and upbeat poster with a good head on his shoulders.
Anyway, there it is from "the mouth (keyboard actually) of Coonskinner."

Good to see you CS. You are missed.
You are one of the reasons this place is worthwhile coming around to.
I pray that you and your family are Blessed!

Matt, one question: Why are we so opposed to trinitarians posting here? If we know what we believe, I think it would make for healthy debate to have some trinitarians posting so we could discuss........we don't have to agree, but as you said, this is a forum, and I don't think we should be afraid of opposing viewpoints.
I've found that usually the only people who don't want to entertain opposing viewpoints are people who are not thorougly convinced of what THEY believe.
That's just my humble opinion.........

Brother Phelps,
I can't speak for the owners, but I know personally that I wouldn't give a wooden nickel to keep a place open for a trinitarian to spout his views.
This is a place for debate among Apostolics or those of Apostolic heritage to discuss issues pertinent to the movement; the Godhead issue is settled for almost all of us.
No point in debating that here. There are lots of places to do that if you want.

There is another type of person who doesn't care much about entertaining opposing viewpoints; the person who is so thoroughly convinced that he isn't interested in wasting time arguing about what is a settled issue.
