Taken in Catahoula Parish, La., at Harrisonburg in Sept. 1940. Bro. Sassman held a big tent revival and had many converts.
I am related to many of the people in this picture. Among them are the families of the Bouey's, the Boothe's, the Cotten's and of course the Strange's too.

Bro. Strange,
My dad loved Bro. Sassman. After Bro. Sassman reached the age where others thought his time of Kingdom service was past, Dad would have him come and preach us a series of services. I LOVED it! I especially liked it when he got to rambling or shooting of that Apostolic Shotgun and scattering truth like so much yard corn! I will never forget the impact of this old pioneer.
