I agree with Carey--Its scary as a parent to think of doing all you know to do and your kids be so violent.
My grandmother raised her kids in church and all of them have problems --the youngest has been in jail many times and spent time in prision. He still lives a horrible lifestyle.
But on the other hand....
I didn't grow up in church. My homelife was often violent. But I had a choice even as a young person on which road to take. Thankfully I had a prayin grandma that helped me along the way.
All of my siblings live for God but we all have said at points in our life that it (God) was our only source of peace.
