All I did in the beginning was ask two simple questions:
1. do you baptize in Jesus name only, and
2. would you baptize into the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost if someone requested you to... to which I get this facetious condescening and vitriolic response:

Could you give me the version of the Holy Bible you quoted this from - I sure would love to read it myself, "full immersion baptism calling only on the name of Jesus." Did Jesus himself say this - were these words in RED?

now, I responded quite sharply to this. When confronted about the sharpness of my tone in response to this, someone suggested this was AB's sense of humor. I acquiesced from my vehemence in a somewhat apologetic and conciliatory tone. And continued such tone until I get this response from Dan SEVERAL PAGES LATER, and after several attempts on my part to cool things and be apologetic:

So I pulled the gloves off with Dan on this one. Listen, you can't expect me to back away and be nice, try to accuse me of not showing brotherly love, and expect me to keep my silence when you are doing the exact same thing you accuse me of. If anyone is going to subscribe to such double speak and double standards, they need to be called on it. I suggest that neither AB, nor Dan here, is worthy of any more attempts at a dignified dialogue, at least with me. Especially after the last thing I read AB post. Forget Mr. Nice Guy...
