We have always loved Nashville! I don't know why God never let us go that direction, but we seem to just spread ourselves around West Tennessee instead.
My daughter lives in a place just outside of Brentwood called Lenox Village, that you can look up on the internet. They are actual houses and condos that are in a little village that has shops and a walking track, a lake, like a little city in itself. It is extremely safe and "homey". She is about 3 miles from Mercy Ministires (where she works) and Christ Church, maybe even less. It's a gorgeous place to live! As a 25 year old single young lady, she feels totally safe to get out and run at night.
She attends church at Bethel World Outreach Center. Christ Church is great, but I don't think she thought it was as lively as she was used to, after spending a year in Costa Rica. Bethel is more geared toward youth, I think.
If you want UPC, the Bectons are awesome! They've been friends of ours for many years. Phil Depriest who pastors the church in Murfreesboro is great too.
