"Dead" church may mean whatever, but error is always going to be error.
Worship can be livened up; a move of the Spirit can be prayed down.
But trinitarian doctrine is deception and will cause you to be lost.

I know someone that is Oneness that has been going to an AOG for years....they know she is Oneness. They allow her to teach classes.
And...she has spoken with a local UPC pastor who is willing to baptize her youngest in Jesus name...
Other than standards it does not seem they have changed in doctrine, but they changed in standards long before they started going to an AOG

- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I think we all know who HE is...I'm glad they didn't refer to the Holy Spirit as IT!

As for me, if I HAD to choose, I've already stated my opinion.
But, I seriously doubt that is the only choices. I'd skip them both and go find a hot, firey, OP church...or look at starting one.
The reality is, I wouldn't even choose to live where there wasn't a good church unless a) I was starting one, or b) someone else had determined that they were starting one and I was desiring to be there and help.
There is no job, no amount, no nothing, that is worth compromising the doctrine of the Oneness of the Godhead, and there is nothing worth dying in a dead church. PERIOD.
That's my story and I'm a-stickin' TUIT!

If some of you would take time to really get to know some of these people in other churches, you would see that they are sincere, on fire, very Godly people who are doing their best to live for Him. Sometimes we make them out to be the "bad guys" and they are sometimes way more committed than some of us.

Some people live and work in leper colonies and never get leprosy.
Do you want to chance it, just because they may have a pool and some cool exercise equipment?

No one said they aren't sincere.
Mormons and JW's are sincere too.
And committed?
You bet.

Ok, that was a ridiculous statement, Amos. No one said anything about going because of "fun" stuff. We are talking about a dead church versus a powerful alive church. It has nothing to do with amenities like a hotel!!
