So, the term trinity wasn't even coined until late in the 2nd century, almost the third century. I can show you several manuscripts that were prior to that that used the term "one God" exclusively, and NEVER alluded to a "trinity"....

So would Emmanuel Swedenborg. He is another form of Oneness that David Bernard used in his book "The Oneness of God" to prove that Oneness was in high swings back in 1688 - 1772. Of course what Bernard didn't tell his readers is, Emmanuel Swedenborg was into the occult.

The term one God has always been used by all trinitarians. One God doesn't mean one Person. But, I'm hear to learn so please show me. thanks

Yeah but that's not the same as teaching Father, Son and Holy Ghost are three distinct persons. Who knows what he had in mind.

Tertullian would be 3rd century. Im kinda curious though what Tertullian meant by Person..what was the underlying greek or latin word. Was it Prosopon or Hypostasis?
