I couldn't agree more. Malvaro took a comment I said light heartedly, (you know in good fun) and went way too far with it IMO.
My father did an excellent job raising his children, and helping build an wonderful church in NYC. Like my brother said, Malvaro shouldn't comment on something he knows NOTHING about.

To the topic at hand, I would attend the OP church because the doctrine is what I believe. I don't believe in the trinity, therefore attending there because 'it's a happenin church' isn't a good enough reason to go.
If I have dead, dull church, that's nobody's fault but my own. It's not the church's responsibility to entertain me in worship and praise to my God.

It would be very hard for me to go to a church where false doctrine is taught, week after week after week. And yes, I know trinitarians who DO believe in three Gods.......God the father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost! And as Jimmy Swaggart said.......he had a vision, and saw THREE thrones in heaven.....go figure!

And I feel the same as you do. I can't attend a church where I don't believe the basic doctrine of the gospel.

I am one of the resident liberals...but I will tell you I would sit at home an listen to harvestime and play old Urshan Records before I would attend a Trinitarian Church!
The is NO SUCH thing as a "happening Trinitarian Church"...THATS called HYPE!

Honestly, I didn't know how to answer the question. I do have children, 4 of them...and after reading Sherri's post, I just may go to a denominal church if I had to.
