When NFCF closed, a lot of people went over to Tina's forum that is on the invision forums board. She added Mal, MOW, The Mrs, and a few of the NFCF admins to the admin team. After a lot of discussion behind the scenes, we decided to create another forum with VBullitin. We chose 5 people as owners, and brought forward all the admin team. Having multiple owners ensured that the forum would not be shut down if one person decided to retire. Having many admins also helps because we all do this voluntarily in our spare time.
The day in and day out moderating of a forum this size is taxing. The stress of wanting to do the right thing when issues come up, and not just bring down the iron fist is quite tiring. Speaking for Renda, she was here almost every day from the start of NFCF until now. That is a few years of service. She should at least get a vacation, don't you think?
