Needed - A Progressive Apostolic Youth Pastor - Page 39

I have a little pentecostal, a little baptist, a little church of God, a little church of Christ, a little Nazarene, a little jewish, a little jehovah's witness in me. I've committed career suicide with the organization my church affiliates with. Does that qualify for head dishwasher or something?

1. I am not pastoring "Apostolic - Wesleyan Holiness" people. Most of our attenders are from A/G, COG and independent Trinity background and don't have a clue what the Trinity is - so the answer is NO - the young people will not become confused because they are not indoctrinated in "oneness" & "Wesleyan Holiness" theology.

2. We are a Church that is "Ministry based" rather than "Doctrinal based". I do teach doctrine - but not in the format most do in the "Apostolic" Church. I teach it through ministry and personal influence. It is not an IN YOUR FACE deal here - we are influencing a culture and not doing it by screaming at them.

3. If it comes to getting someone outside the "Apostolic" ranks (which at this point is where I am headed it looks like) I can influence them and bring them to a knowledge of the Revelation of Jesus Christ quicker than I can "unlearn" someone that has been indoctrinated and thinks everyone is going to hell if they don't agree with everything they have learned in the past.

I STILL NEED A YOUTH PASTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will nominate COOPER to be the official Bass Player but he has to have a little facial hair too - it ain't all just about SHORTS you know! If Jesus had facial hair - don't you think that should be a requirement too????????????????

Well lets see....I grew up COGOP....I've been COG....Independent....8 years in the UPC....I'm currently Ordained with the Global Network of Christian Ministries....And I pastor a COGOP.

But...I'm only 31...have 8 kids.....

Am I doctrinally compatible enough to be your Youth Pastor.

At least we got the same "HERITAGE" "YOU GOTTA FLAG YET?"
