they are the world's richest country in term of per capita $$... See, no one actually lives in the Vatican (ok, maybe a few people), but because the Catholic Church is based there there is tons of money that goes through there, skyrocketing the per capita earnings be the fact there are so few who live there...
Its the same reason Luxemburg is, per capita, richer than America...
