I was speaking ufamistically. I am not doing anything more than supporting those aspects of our political system that are seeking to withstand islamic terror.
As far as who was protecting Peter, Paul and the rest? well, they were following their calling to bring the gospel to heathern nations that didnt want to hear it. All I am doing is trying to be a computer analyst in a large city somewhere in the middle of the country.
you cannot make a biblical analogy between men who were persecuted for their faith in christ and international politics. it doesnt work like that.

Marx did have some decent (and impossible to attain) ideas... I'm sorry if you think the eradication of poverty and hunger is a bad thing... I'm sure you aren't starving or poor, though, so why would I expect you to empathize...
And a large reason that Ahmedinejad hates us is because he hates all Jews and Christians... By and large it is our faith that causes him to oppose us...
and nothing in our political system is seeking to assassinate this guy. If we wanted him dead, he'd be dead, period... We don't want him dead, thus he isn't... You aren't supporting any part of our political system wishing for his assassination...
