It is a 90 credit hour degree...about 21 of the credits can be done online.
Although we live 10 minutes froom the campus, they allowed us to take the module program so that we can control the flexibility of the schedule and not do residential.
The module program is designed for out of town students who do the pre and post course work at home and travel to tulsa for one week of intense study (37.5 hours in 5 days in class). They offer a class every month...most do not take them every month...
It isn't cheap....

Bro. Blume, I don't have a problem with the seminary not endorsing every doctrine that I subscribe to. I am not necessarily "dispansationalist", and lean more toward a covenant theology, but in my mind I kind of combine the two. But that is really irrelevant. I am looking more for a school that has a solid reputation in the theology community, and generally conservative. I considered USGT, but they are "under development".
Truimphant1, I am very familiar with ORU, but would be very hesitant considering Oral Robert's sketchy history, his visions, and his directives from God (i.e. getting direction from "God" to build the multimillion dollar "city of Faith", and then later filing bankruptcy.) ORU would be the most convenient for me, but I am really a little apprehensive about it. How much is it per credit hour? (if you don't mind me asking, if so, I'll call them and find out). Where do you attend church in Tulsa? Jenks?

But I would still feel unconfortable with it. I am interested in historical studies, linguistics, and systematic theology. I am definitely intrigued by DTS Th. M. nad I know they are highly regarded. Does anyone have any other suggestions for a seminary school that an aposotolic would benifit from? One that is highly regarded? The biggest bang for the buck so-to-speak? Thanks!

I went to Western Seminary, but if I were you I would look into going to Fuller Theological Seminary or Gordon Conwell Seminary.

Gordon Conwell because of it depth and my friend Dr. Jeff Garner went there and he had nothing but good things to say about it.

This is copied from Lee University's website. It is a Church of God liberal arts university.
Lee University offers a Bachelor of Christian Ministry degree program of study designed specifically for those preparing for full-time vocational ministry. It is a flexible program easily tailored to fit the student's particular ministerial or discipleship needs. Core courses provide a valuable balance of general studies and biblical-theological knowledge with specialized skills taught in each of the following emphases:
Bible
The Bible emphasis gives an extensive knowledge of both Old and New Testaments, emphasizing interpretation skills and Bible Study methods. It considers types of literature found in the Bible and provides principles of interpretation for each, ultimately focusing on informed Christian living.
Theology
The Theology emphasis provides a thorough preparation in biblical and theological knowledge. It is recommended for those planning to continue their education at the Masters and/or Doctoral level, and is ideal for those planning to work in the educational ministry of the church.
Pastoral Ministry
The Pastoral Ministry emphasis combines biblical-theological knowledge with ministerial skills such as preaching, counseling, and church leadership. It examines the role of pastor, the mission of the church and the means of enabling the laity to accomplish the work of the Kingdom.
Christian Education
The Christian Education emphasis prepares and equips men and women for effective ministry in discipleship or Christian education. Providing a foundation of biblical-theological knowledge, it explores the teaching/learning process involved in discipleship of people of all ages.

My Undergraduate Degree program was at Lee University (mentioned earlier). You can complete a B.A. or B.S. degree in Christian Ministry (with an emphasis in Theology or Biblical Studies) completely online. I would also highly recommend checking out www.goast.org which is a fully accredited online college out of Bro Nate Wilson's Church. Talmadge French is one of the teachers there. Also AST will offer a Masters program in Sept of 08 through the same online format. As far as graduate schools i'm looking at Regent, Liberty, AGTS, and the AST progam. I want to complete a MDiv in the next 3 years. If you can swing it and your grades are good enough I would highly recommend Wheaton but it is a very intense program and very hard to get into. I would not go to Urshan because of the unaccredited nature of the program. After talking to people there it may be yet several years before they become accredited. The problem with this is that if you did want to go on and work on a DMin or PhD program you couldn't do it since your degree from Urshan in unaccredited. I hope this helps.

Urshan is Not accredited. They are working on it and they are in step 2 of 3 but it still may be a while. The good thing is that when they do become accredited all the degrees they have given out in the past will turn into accredited degrees. The bad thing is that you will have to wait until then to pursue a Doctorate or find a school that will accept the Urshan credits.
You can go to www.leeuniversity.edu to visit the Lee website. They are Church of God but i've only had doctrinal issues in a few of my classes. I did get thrown out of an online discussion forum because I said that the evidence of receiving the Holy Ghost was speaking in tongues and that you had to have the Holy Ghost to go to Heaven. Other than that it hasn't been that bad and I did end up with an "A" in that class so all is well. The CAPS program is great for people that don't want to relocate.
I would also recommend AST before anything else for a BA degree. I would have done this first but the program didn't exist until this year. As far as i'm concerned the teachers at AST are the best in the world and are absolutely apostolic. You can't get any better that taking Greek with Bro French and Theology with Bro Wilson. Their school is worth checking out.
