They upci is not standing up for television, imo... they are simply allowing the use of it as a method of communication. The only think the upci is standing up for is the cause of the gospel... I wish poeple would quit being "against" things, and be FOR something! Too many people's ministries are defined by what they are agiainst... let's stand up and be for the gospel!

Thank you for clarifying (Latter Day Saints). Being in education for the past decade, LDS means Learning Disabled Students to me.

And, no, I'm not mocking special needs kids....so don't anybody start fussing.

What exactly are the "old paths"....? are you talking about the old paths of a decade ago? two decades ago? two centuries ago? Exactly which "old paths" are you talking about? If we go back a couple centuries, things would be drastically different for YOU today wouldn't they? think AMISH.... again, which "old paths" exactly are you talking about? And what makes that subset of "old paths" more valuable than any other subset? what makes the "old paths" of 50 years ago more authoratative than the "old paths" of 100 years ago? or 10 years ago?

At least you'll be consistent.

Why do you have to be under 30 to have a vested interested in the matter?

Great point.... but so many are not willing to concede the incosistency in being againt TV and for Internet.... either be against both, or make allowances for both.... (note, making allowances for internet, and/or controlled TV usage doesn't necessarily equate to being "FOR" them.... it simply equates to limiting their use)
