I don't think the thread about the UPC Eulogy has a place right now!

They've got the UPC dead...where is your outrage there?

Your heart shows...you have more loyalty to those who will leave and become independent than you do to the heritage of the UPC....figures.

Furthermore...the threads about preachers leaving have no place....and the bye bye kp thread has no place...and all of the other fear mongering threads and the threads about this being the sad day in the UPC and the threads about the UPC will lose everything and the threads about TV ruining the org and the threads about TV making the UPC women Tammy Fayes and Jan Crouches......have no place right now either....

I am probably overreacting a little bit. It's just that I was totally unprepared for res #4 to pass this year. I just didn't think enough support would show up at GC.

T1, I apologize for jumping your case but I still stand by my posts. You have no idea how much stock I have put into the UPC. It is obviously not the complete Body of Christ but I love this organization and desperately want my children to inherit an organization that loves holiness and truth as much as it did when I was a child.

And I am trying to calm all of this fear mongering by simply saying that your children will inherit an organization that loves holiness and truth called the UPC...

I accept your apology and hope that you can see where I'm trying to come from here...those who are saying all is lost are doing great harm. My thread is to try to show the ridiculous nature of the fear mongers....you know the UPC still stands for holiness as well as i do, tv or not.

The fear mongering going on right now is unwarranted...I personally believe that the UPC will not change a bit as a result of RES 4...that should be comforting to you.

Newsflash..... People that don't have TV (yeah, church people) can still do plenty of unholy things all by themselves. And, people that have TV (yeah, church people) can still do a lot of holy things regardless.

If everybody would quit picking at leaves and dig down to the root of the issue then they might accomplish something. Teach people to have a relationship with God and learn how to walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lusts of the flesh and everything will be a-okay.

The poltergeist is not gonna jump out of the TV screen and suck people in if they are living right and making right choices.

The boogerman is more liable to jump out of the computer monitor than the TV screen anyways.
