When I came to the Lord 24 years ago the SS showed a 16 mm film on Pilgrims Progress-4 got the HG.
Was it the film or God???

Still missing the point. Neither are wrong and neither are good OR bad. They are neutral. Every argument you make, if you really believed it was true, can be made of other mediums.

Brother, when someone gives a bible study and they get the Holy Ghost, was it the bible study? The teacher? Or God? We are all just tools for God. If the movie helped the SS class reach a bunch of kids...why fight it?

The upci changed to please the legalists. It got so bad our claim to fame is dress codes , no tv women don't cut hair, oh yeah speaking in tongues was foruth or fifth on the list. Rules made on faulty reasons are faulty rules.

Well, your first line sums up this whole debate.
I don't find groupos to say that Prax, but I have found God prompting me to do just that.
The only reason I am even on this much now is the fact that I am stuck at home recovering.
Yet, in all this argument you haven't proven to me scientificaly or otherwise that TV is good for oneself or is a proper medium to propagate the gospel in.

Do you have the capability of reading the post I responded to? The question isn't about was it God or was it not. EB's senseless point was veggie tales bad because talking vegeatables do not say Jesus Christ or something to that equivelent.

The point is this is TV good or bad.
You have shown nothing to prove that TV is good for you or that it is a good medium to use to spread the gospel.
Methinks some are wanting a short cut to revival and all those big mega churches with the mega tithe & prestige that goes with it.
Nobody wants to go the old path which is denying onesself, crucifying the flesh,
and hard work.
Sad really.
