You know what most disturbs me about this? by and large, I identify with those that most likely are taking aim at Thad.

why cant we stand on the strength of our own argument? ninnys.

My observation is that this is the way Apostolic organizations are run in general. I don't mean to offend, of course... but all Apostolic orgs that I've been around seem to be directed by a small percentage of people who are constantly "offended."

IMHO this is what keeps our orgs weak and ineffectual. We are governed by our own weakest instincts.

I just have to say...I love Thad but the Bible is very explicit about bringing false witness against others. This is such a public forum that there have been many hurts caused by false accusations made against others. There is nothing to be said for bringing true or false private issues into this forum for entertainment value.

I think it is a sad state of affairs when we worry about good solid advice being given, and then allow gossip to run ramphant. What is wrong with this picture?

What in the world was said about what happened at General Conference that "offended" a "high-official" in the UPC that Thad said?

-Was it the officials, ministers and pastors in the sports bar at the Marriott?
-Was it the people leaving UPCI after the vote?
-Was it the talk of the guy wearing a goatee on the platform Saturday night?
-Was it the talk that ministers were observed at a baseball stadium?

Come on...what did Thad say about the General Conference and UPC that "offended" and now brought "false witness"?

You want solid proof? There is solid proof for each of these things he mentioned about GC. If you wanna call it gossip...go right ahead.
