We got married in my parents' living room; no tongues & interpretation there, but we will be married 30 years next anniversary. I guess it's going to last!

We got married in my wife's grandmother's parlor. I had never been in that room before. It was only used for special occasions. I don't know if my wife had ever been in there before. I was 20 and Pat was 16. Her grandfather did the ceremony. He did just a short ceremony because he had to go preach somewhere afterward. We will celebrate our 50th anniversary early next year. There were no tongues and no interpretation either. Since we had no car my father-in-law dropped us off in front of a hotel downtown to spend our two night honeymoon. That was after he dropped off his father (the preacher who performed the ceremony) at a store front church to preach.

And of course, we got married in a tiny chapel at the MGM Grand on the strip. The room next to ours was just starting another wedding as ours finished which was being filmed for a "A Wedding Story" episode on TLC. Cameramen and directors everywhere!

Oh yes, there were no tongues and and interpretations at our either.

But plenty of memories! It was perfect!

Hey Sam!
I "fixed" (sorta) the colors on your picture. I only spent a few minutes on it -so did not do a real professional job, but at least you can see the potential.
