It would be a moot point though.
The Church of Christ has no organizational structure such as a headquarters, districts, presbyters, etc. etc.
So Max would never have had a fellowship card to turn in or a board to meet.
He can pretty well call himself whatever he wants.
He could still be "Church of Christ" but of course most of his brethren would not "fellowship" him if they consider him radical.

I do not know about Max but I do know Shelly is seen now as very liberal and even and apostate to the majority of Campbellites.

That must explain why there are so many different ones. Some use no music. I knew of one that was so controlling it made some UPC pastors seem liberal. There was this woman I was witnessing to and she was not allowed to drive on her own to church. They HAD to come and pick her up to make sure she was coming. It was terrible.

Im not sure. I have met many that quoted Acts 2:38 in order to insist baptism is necessary, but when asked about the titles Father, Son and Holy Ghost they told me that was how they baptized

Hendricks? He does not even believe in water baptism OR tongues any more for salvation. They certain don't have standards either.

When we lived in the midwest, the Church of Christ in our hometown baptized in the name of Jesus. And where we live now, the pastor's wife of the CoC told me that we had something in common....they baptized like we do.

Dizzy,
I would find the assertion of Prax to be odd... Shelly Hendricks was THE PRIMO "get em talking in tongues dude" in the UPCI. He may be touting it as the handle on the cup but I don't think he would sacrifice the sum total of his ministry such as it was.
